Models & Standards: ISTE Standards, Bloom’s Taxonomy
Tools: ISTE Standards

THE EXPERIENCE
This lesson was prepared for a non-profit organization who wanted to use use gamification to introduce students to coding concepts. Without the budget to create a custom solution, I was tasked with finding a ready-made tool around which coding lessons could be designed.

After clarifying the objectives of the lesson, I researched and several inexpensive coding education apps and settled on the Grasshopper app. Applying ISTE standards, I developed the plan.
