HOW I CAN HELP

A headache is not an aspirin deficiency.
A performance problem is not a course deficiency.

WHAT?!!!!! An instructional designer that doesn’t think courses are the forever answer?
Yup.
We’ve all heard the saying that when all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
I have more than one tool in my box, and I will use them ALL to build solutions to compliance, onboarding, or performance challenges.

Trying to figure out what’s broken, how it got that way and how to fix it can be overwhelming to a leadership team with so many things to juggle.
That’s where I come in. My job is not just to make a pretty course and report the results. My job is to work backward from your KPIs or compliance objectives to find the REAL problem.
I think that performance problems fall into three areas:
Skill: Your team doesn’t know  what to do
Will: They know what to do but are not motivated  to do it
Hill: They know what to do and they want to do it but the hill they have to climb is too steep

My goal is to help your business reach its full potential by giving your team targeted and engaging learning tools and experiences.

ABOUT ME

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me.

I developed my first courses 8 years ago to help my marketing and web design clients better understand their programs. My business focused on helping creative entrepreneurs promote themselves in an effective but authentic way. I quickly learned that many of them were TERRIFIED of technology. I had to find ways to make complex things simple and hold the attention of people who would rather be doing anything else. I created WordPress tutorials, content development training, and tons of sales and marketing webinars.

Over time, I realized how much more I enjoyed curriculum building and teaching versus graphic and web design. I started to transition my business and my goals to focus on instructional design. To formalize my experience and make sure that I could provide the highest level of service to my instructional design clients, I earned a master’s degree in instructional design from The University of Alabama in 2020.

For fun, I study languages. Currently I speak just enough Korean and Spanish to be dangerous. I read tons of biographies, and anything related to Tudor England or Greek/Roman mythology. I love college football, Kpop, and Jeopardy.

WHERE TO NEXT ?

Would you like to see some samples of my work or schedule a time to talk?
