What I Do

Ok ok.. cape is a bit much for day-to-day work, but the rest is accurate.

Hi, I’m Angela.

I partner with L&D teams that need an extra set of hands, a specific skill set, or someone to keep a project from going off the rails.

I know what it looks like when a project lands on your desk already behind, and I know how to get it across the finish line anyway. I also know that the people involved are usually doing their best with what they have, and that is where I start

Master’s degree in Instructional Design, University of Alabama

PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification

How I Got Here

I started out as a branding consultant building websites for small businesses. I kept answering the same client questions over and over. At some point I stopped answering them one at a time and built training content to answer them once.

It worked. And I realized I liked designing learning experiences more than designing logos.

That shift sent me back to school. I earned my Master’s degree in Instructional Design from The University of Alabama in 2020.

ROLL TIDE!!

A few years later, once I understood how much project management matters to actually delivering great work, I added my PMP in 2024.

I have since worked across corporate training, higher education, healthcare, utilities, real estate, and associations. I take on projects where the learning experience genuinely matters to the organization and to the people going through it.

Instructional design sits at the intersection of everything I am good at and most of what I find interesting. Graphic design, human behavior, technology, psychology. It lets me help real people stay safe, keep their licenses, and do their jobs well.

Every project comes with a surprise deep dive into something I never expected to care about. Last year it was the proper disposal of lithium-ion batteries. Makes me fun at parties.

Your people need to learn things.

I can help.
