All About Angela

Articulate Storyline fangirl and Comic Sans hater

I started creating courses 11 years ago to help my marketing and web design clients actually use the tools and strategies I made for them. Many were less than thrilled about technology (to put it mildly) and even less excited about spending time on marketing instead of their creative work. So, I rolled up my sleeves and created WordPress video tutorials, personal sales courses, and content marketing webinars that were clear, practical, and—dare I say—almost enjoyable.

Over time, I discovered I liked designing courses and teaching even more than crafting marketing strategies and tools. Turns out, instructional design let me do all the things I love: be creative, solve problems, and make learning something people don’t immediately want to run away from. That realization led me to shift my focus entirely to instructional design.

To make it official, I earned a master’s degree in Instructional Design from The University of Alabama in 2020. Then, because I’m apparently a glutton for punishment, I also got my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2024. Now, I combine my love of design with my obsession for order and deliver learning solutions that are engaging, organized, and actually get results.

When I’m not geeking out over instructional design, I’m exploring Korean culture and language, devouring a good book, or getting way too competitive with puzzles. And, of course, Saturdays are for cheering on the Crimson Tide—Roll Tide!

If you’re looking for an instructional designer who can make learning less painful (and maybe even fun), let’s talk!
