I was tasked with evaluating a call between an instructional design team, focusing on their proposal, the subject matter, and the SME’s contributions. To present my impressions and feedback, I created a Vyond animation, transforming the assessment into a fun and engaging format. The animation highlighted key observations, provided constructive insights, and showcased areas for improvement in an engaging and visually dynamic way, making the evaluation more impactful and memorable for the audience. 

Process

  • Identified key strengths, areas for improvement, and any gaps in communication or approach.
  • Determined the best way to present feedback in an engaging and constructive manner.
  • Planned the structure of the evaluation using a Vyond animation to create a visually appealing and engaging presentation.
  • Organized feedback into clear sections, focusing on observations, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  • Created the animation in Vyond, incorporating key highlights from the call and actionable feedback for the instructional design team.
  • Used visuals and animations to enhance understanding and retention of the evaluation points.

Outcomes and Insights

The animated evaluation received positive feedback for its engaging and creative presentation style, making the assessment process more approachable and impactful. Stakeholders appreciated the clarity and actionable nature of the observations and recommendations. The use of animation helped highlight key points, resulting in better retention of the feedback and more productive follow-up discussions.

This project demonstrated that creative formats, such as animations, can effectively communicate professional evaluations while maintaining engagement. Leveraging visuals and storytelling can transform routine feedback into an engaging and memorable experience, fostering greater understanding and collaboration among stakeholders.
